2014 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo Presented by Tucson Medical Center

A Warm, Sunny and Full Moon Thank You

The weather in 24 Hour Town was simply incredible; a gentle breeze, bright sunshine, highs in the 80s and lows in the 50s with a big bright full moon - it was a first in #24HOP history. Equally incredible were all the volunteers, participants, sponsors and vendors who came together and made the 15th Annual 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo Presented by Tucson Medical Center a huge success.

Every participant took Reverend Chainring's "Be Nice" sermon to heart, which resulted in a congregation of 4,000 mountain bikers all peacefully co-existing at the beautiful Willow Springs Ranch. In addition to raising over $20,000 for event beneficiaries, everyone who participated also helped contribute more than 4.5 tons of canned goods for the Tri-Communities region (Oracle, AZ to Globe, AZ).

From the Epic Rides crew, a sincere "thank you" goes out to all who attended. We look forward to seeing everyone in 2015 for our annual pilgrimage to Willow Springs Ranch.

Registration opens October 1st, mark your calendar!

OPGA Kids Fun Ride a Huge Success

The inaugural Old Pueblo Gymnastics Academy (OPGA) Kids Fun Ride was a great success with more than 60 kids putting tires to dirt! As the adults wound down 24 hours of riding in the Sonoran Desert, at 12:30 on Sunday afternoon, it was the little ones' turn, and they made quick work of both courses while sporting ear-to-ear grins.

Epic Rides wants to sincerely thank OPGA for initiating this terrific addition to the 24HOP experience.

Epic Rides encourages everyone with children in the greater Tucson area to learn more about Tucson's leading gymnastics facility, the Old Pueblo Gymnastics Academy, and their terrific gymnastics programs (and party venue) for kids of all ages and abilities.

Whiskey Registration Pouring In

Like an overzealous bartender known for a generous pour, registration for the 11th Annual Whiskey Off-Road is filling to the brim. The 15 Proof is nearly full already and the 25 and 50 Proof events are close behind.

At the current rate of registration, all events should be sold out by the end of February. For those who've been hemming and hawing about spending April 25-27 riding mountain bikes in the pristine Prescott National Forest, hem and haw no longer.
