NEXT EVENT
2014 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo Presented by Tucson Medical Center

Wanted: Awesome Volunteers for #24HOP

Helping others, meeting new friends, making unforgettable memories and getting great swag - they're all perks of being an Epic Rides volunteer. There are many moving parts that make the 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo presented by Tucson Medical Center work, but at the core are our selfless volunteers; for without them, Epic Rides' events wouldn't be as amazing as they are.

For those planning to be at this year's #24HOP but won't be riding, consider volunteering. It's a terrific way to pass the time, make new friends, encourage riders and even get a swagadocious 'thank you'.

As a bonus, a special 'volunteers only' raffle will be held each of the 24 hours with really cool prizes to win from stellar event sponsors.

Find the GU Golden Packet and Win

Regarded by many as the greatest GU flavor ever, Salted Caramel is the brainchild of Salty the Yeti - who will be in attendance at this year's #24HOP, emerging from his frozen winter training grounds to catch some warm Arizona rays and motivate riders.

To help celebrate the success of Salty's delicious creation that helps power athletes to peak performance, GU Energy is giving away free boxes of Salted Caramel in the Golden Packet Giveaway. Simply find a golden packet in select 8 and 24 packs of Salted Caramel, and receive a free 24 pack box of Salted Caramel plus be entered for a chance at the Grand Prize.

Be sure to watch the video and get all the details. Just be sure Salty doesn't see you with the Golden Packet in hand. He was a football player in a previous life and hits hard!

Free Kids Helmets from TMC at #24HOP

Because a child is four times more likely to be seriously injured in a bicycle crash than to be kidnapped by a stranger, every year the Tucson Medical Center donates more than 8,000 bike helmets to Tucson youth through their Desert Kids Safety program.

To show their continual commitment to caring for the health and well being of all Southern Arizonans, TMC will be on-site all weekend at the #24HOP fitting children with free bike helmets. Not only is it a great opportunity to get kids a new helmet that fits properly, but parents can also sign their little ones up for the inaugural Old Pueblo Gymnastics Academy Kids Fun Ride taking off at 12:30p on Sunday, February 16.

Whiskey Registration Nearly Full

The phrase "whiskey is over half full" is usually a good thing, indicating there's still a lot of great libation sipping to be had. But when it's in reference to the Whiskey Off-Road, it's an indicator to stop procrastinating and start making plans to be in Prescott, Arizona on April 25-27.

As an added incentive to get registered for the 11th Annual Whiskey Off-Road, all who register before Friday, February 28 will not only save money by avoiding a processing fee increase, but registrants will also get $25 off registration on the Grand Junction Off-Road presented by U.S. Bank on Labor Day weekend, August 29-31.

Whiskey Course Pre-Ride FYI

Camp Stein has been purchased from the Prescott National Forest Service. The owners have kindly requested that pre-riders circumnavigate the property by utilizing trail 391. Located immediately next to where the pavement of Copper Basin turns to dirt, take 391 to the top of 327, then reconvene on the course.

For Whiskey weekend, Camp Stein will allow the course & participants to pass through their land as usual. Epic Rides appreciates Camp Stein's continued support and everyone's cooperation.
