What better way to spend the official end of summer than with Epic Rides at the inaugural Grand Junction Off-Road presented by U.S. Bank.

Limited space remains. Don't be left out on this historic Epic Rides event, register for The Grand today!

Cirrus Visual Reveals Tour Event Poster

Equally talented on a bike as they are with artistic creativity, our good friends at Cirrus Visual Communication have just revealed this year's Tour of the White Mountains Official Event Poster. If you've done the Tour before, then you're probably familiar with the blue diamond trail markings used throughout the White Mountains Trail System. Marked year round, TRACKS is the local volunteer engine that keeps the trails in the Pinetop-Lakeside region looking pristine. Without the dedication of TRACKS and its nearly 400 devoted volunteers, the Tour would not be possible.

In homage to all the terrific work TRACKS does, Cirrus Visual integrated the blue diamond trail marker design into this year's Tour poster, and to show our appreciation for TRACKS, Epic Rides donates funds each year to help ensure existing trails stay well maintained and new trails can be created throughout the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest region. Register today and get your very own collectible Tour poster.

New Tour Venue Details Announced

The 2013 Tour of the White Mountains returns to the Pinetop-Lakeside area with a new venue location at the beautiful Pinetop Lakes Activity Center. Set in a serene meadow lined with towering ponderosa pine trees, the Activity Center features RV camping with sewer, water, electric and Wi-Fi as well as non-RV dry camping sites. Dry camping is only $5 per person/night with free kids and pets, and full-service RV camping is limited to only 10 sites and is $45/night, so be sure to make your reservation ASAP.

To help you carbo load and recover from Saturday's events, we will also have Friday and Saturday dinner available at the Activity Center. The convenience and comfort of the Pinetop Lakes Activity Center will surely make this year's Tour even more memorable, and with three new singletrack routes (50-mile, 30-mile and 9-mile) plus an all-new 30-mile forest road "gravel grinder" fun ride, everyone will be able to get in on the fun. Register today!

See ya trailside,

Featured Pro Athlete -
Ben Sonntag

Hailing from Germany and based nearby in Durango, Ben Sonntag joins the Interbanc/Cannondale team for 2013. Sonntag - German for Sunday - had himself a stellar Sunday at this year's Whiskey Off-Road, taking 4th place in the Men's Pro race. Sonntag has also proven his mettle by winning brutally tough endurance races including La Ruta de los Conquistadores and the Breck Epic. Look for Sonntag to vie for victory at this year's Grand Junction Off-Road p/b U.S. Bank.

Jamming Out in
Grand Junction

In addition to being a world-class mountain bike destination, the Grand Junction area is also know for its music festivals. Country Jam Ranch is a 240-acre permanent music festival site that's home to a number of shows including Country Jam and Rock Jam. In fact, Rock Jam is happening the weekend before The Grand, so if you like music as much as riding, arrive in Grand Junction a week early and get more rock in your diet.
