Old Pueblo Goodie Bag - One Hot Potato
Epic Rides is stoked to offer an awesome event goodie bag. We measure
the quality of our bags on combustibility, handy indeed. The longer a
bag burns, the better the contents (disclaimer: no goodie bags were
burned in the making of this eNewsletter).
Serving it up hot, all participants at the
Kona Bikes 24 Hours in the
Old Pueblo presented by
Tucson Medical Center will receive a goodie
bag including an event water bottle, event poster, event T-shirt plus
"samples and such" from our 30+ event sponsors. Some of the goodies
are:
And, of course, the coveted 24 Hour circle sticker. Giddy up!

24-Hour Town hosted by TMC - Campsite Etiquette
Reminder: All RV's 30' or less have a $20 cover charge at the door, if
31' or more, add $1 + 72 cans of food for donation to the
Tri-community Food Bank. Get the skinny by
clicking this.
Campsite etiquette... And in case you didn't know, the pachyderms of
24-Hour Town are all on vacation. A friendly reminder- Do not confuse
the chill event vibe for a death metal halftime show at a British
Soccer match. In other words, keep your campsite chill.
The current reported record for RV community recreation is 32 so make
the most of that impressive mobile home sq footage - here is your open
invitation to snuggle up and keep the genny noise down, or share the
warmth with your neighbors by inviting them in for a warm beve on a
cold night. We realize it's a tall order to totally silence the
gennys, so just remember the mantra, Don't Harsh the Mellow...

Rosemont Copper Project
Rosemont Copper is making strides and shaping up to be a mining
industry leader. A main goal of Rosemont is to be a company Southern
Arizona can be proud of. How you ask? By inviting dialogue with the
public, offering tours, funding research and projects designed to
mitigate or avoid altogether negative impacts inherent in the mining
process. Launch of the current solar collector proving grounds is just
one way, planning for community vibrancy after the mining is completed
for future generations is another. Take a gander at their
website, and
Facebook page.

Granite Construction and Empire Power
Granite Construction
and
Empire Southwest
- AKA the master crafters of
infrastructure. It's with a whole lotta thanks that we get support
from these businesses. They are the architects behind the relaxed Old
Pueblo vacation vibe so that your stay will be the brightest and
cleanest it can be. They keep the showers wet and the lights on all
weekend in 24 Hour Town. Show your appreciation and give Empire
Southwest a '
like' next time it feels right. Or, visit
Granite Construction to learn more.

Quixotic Inspire
|

Photo: Bennett Barthelemy
To help promote the vacation vibe here is a video
trailer from an
Italian mountain biker and adventure filmmaker exploring hypoxic
Nepal. It qualifies as a quixotic adventure and hopefully inspires you
to think of your own and share them with us to win fabulous prizes
from our amazing
sponsors.
