The Unofficial Pre Ride - Update
Due to a lil snow on the ground plus the anticipated dose of snow due to drop over Prescott manana, following is a conditions update to all people planning to pre-ride this weekend.
The latest report suggests riding the 15 proof should be no problem, although expect to encounter "some snow and lots of water along the way". For those determined to pre-ride the 25 proof, "it's doable, however expect a snowy adventure" as we've been told. Snow is a non-issue on the out'n back section of the 50 proof.
Of course, if you're schedule is flexible and you're able to wait a week to hit up Prescott for your pre-ride...we highly recommend waiting until next weekend as you'll likely be greeted with more ideal riding conditions.
And thus, the beauty of the Whiskey Off Road Unofficial pre-ride is that it's completely and totally on your schedule. It's not so much an organized ride; it's more of an informal gathering of you and your fat-tire friends. Start time is whenever you start. Distance is up to you.
Oh, and for all your last second needs, remember to stop into High Gear Bike Shop in Prescott. Hopefully we'll see ya trail side this weekend or next...
