Whiskey Pre-ride Announced April 3rd & 4th
The Whiskey Off Road Unofficial Pre Ride is scheduled for April 3rd and 4th in and around Prescott, AZ. We at Epic Rides like to consider this the "practice party."
With the abundant rain and snow the Prescott National Forest has received lately, the course is sure to be packed with stream crossings and incredibly bright lush vegetation awesomeness. Plus, the big weather offerings are likely to have a changing effect on the trail as we've known it in recent years. If for nothing else, Epic Rides highly recommends a pre-ride for your safety. Always ride safely and respect all trail users, especially the equestrian and hiking folks.

Git Yer Official Whiskey Off Road Finishers Pint Glass!
Epic Rides has always been proud of the quality awards and gratuitous schwag we distribute to our merry band of mountain bikers. And now, we're upping the ante. As participants in the 7th Annual Whiskey Off Road dig deep to overcome the routes physical and mental challenges in order to cross the finish line...they've got a new carrot to consider along the way.
Epic Rides and Cirrus Visual Communication proudly present to you our new Whiskey finishing award, the Whiskey Off Road "Finisher" pint glass. All finishers receive their pint, engraved with the distance they rode, upon crossing the finish line.
We encourage you to have it filled a time or two during the evenings Whiskey Off Road Watering Hole Challenge (...a pub crawl).
Canned Goods Benefit the Yavapai Food Bank
The Whiskey Off Road is pleased to enter our 5th year of raising funds and canned goods for the Yavapai County Food Bank. More than ever, families in rural communities need your help to keep nourished.
Epic Rides and the Yavapai Food Bank respectfully request all event participants bring two canned goods to donate at packet pickup. Plus, any non-riders (family & friends) attending the concert on Saturday are requested to donate two cans as well. Saturday donations will be accepted on the east side of the stage.
The Yavapai Food Bank is:
- A Food Distribution Center with an On-site Pantry
- A food support center for other service agencies
- Managed by volunteers, community service workers, and contract staff
- A non-government funded 501 (c)3 Non-Sectarian Charitable Organization

Whiskey Processing Fee Coming Up - 3/27
This year's event is filling faster than we've ever experienced. Once we receive our first 1,000 registrations the doors close and the gears start churning to make sure all on the Whiskey bus have the time of their life in Prescott, AZ. Processing fee increase goes into effect after next Saturday, March 27th.

Urban Assault Ride(TM) series kicks off in Tucson on 4/18
If you missed it last year, you're not going to want to miss the BEER, BIKES, and BIG WHEELS this year! Here's how it works: You and your teammate will set out on a city-wide quest for 'checkpoints' on your favorite two-wheeled steeds. At each checkpoint, you'll drop your bikes and complete a funky/adventurous obstacle course, then remount your bikes and hit the streets for more.
The goal is to complete all the checkpoints in the shortest amount of time. You choose your own route and checkpoint order. This means that the cleverest are often the victors. Of course, it may also help if you can pull a mean big-wheel power slide and fly across an inflatable slip-n-slide. Winners take home A PAIR of New Belgium Brewery's limited edition cruisers.
After your pedal-powered adventure, your team will cross the finish line and enter a massive celebration of bikes and beer. The after party is just as much fun as the ride itself, thanks to all the New Belgium beer and the craziest raffle prize contest you'll ever experience.
