It's El Tour de Tucson Time!

Although it's on the road, it's an awesome event!

Held annually the Saturday before Thanksgiving (tomorrow!), El Tour is a fun ride attracting over 9,000 cyclists of all ages and abilities from throughout the United States and beyond, including novice, intermediate, advanced, and professional riders.

Participants ride 109, 80, 66 or 35 miles, plus an 8, 4 & 1/4- mile Fun Ride, open to all abilities. Main routes take participants around scenic areas of Tucson, with beautiful vistas of its local mountain ranges - three rising over 9,000 feet- complete with the backdrop of the mighty saguaro cactus, icon of the Southwest's Sonoran Desert.

It's not to late to register, head on down to the Tucson Convention Center between 10a and 9p on Friday, November 20th and you too can enjoy the fun and camaraderie of El Tour!

Who Registered and Won... A Set of WTB Tires?

Oh buddy...not only did they win, but this time they get the option to acquire a set of WTB's latest rubber to hit the dirt!

WTB's most versatile tread is now available for the wagon wheeling set. The Wolverine is a standout performer in Arizona's rugged landscape. Its 2.2-inch wide footprint provides stability over rough, rocky terrain and floats over soft sand. Additionally, this tire's moderately spaced tread pattern rolls with efficiency, plentiful working edges cling to hard-pack and lean-friendly outside knobs ensure that you'll be working it in the turns.

And now we have a winner... Jeffrey Bauman of Flagstaff, AZ. Congrats Jeffrey!

See ya trail side,
