It's Bike Time!
In the great words of legend Ralph Phillips, owner of Fair Wheel Bikes in Tucson, "It's Bike Time!"
That's right folks, the outside temperatures throughout Arizona are finally dropping and the riding season is fast approaching in the form of prime time, all day epic riding weather.
If you've been riding all summer, this is the time of year when you begin to feel the return on recent efforts. If you've been slacking, the heat is no longer a consideration.
Be it at the Show Low Bluff Tour of the White Mountains or your local romp, Epic Rides wants to encourage you to get out and enjoy the great weather as the onset of fall descends upon us.
Of course, if you're so inclined...road trip your way up to Show Low, AZ Oct. 2nd & 3rd to witness a Fall season like no other and ride some of AZ's best single track amongst aspen groves, ponderosa pines, leaves changing colors, jamming tunes and a bunch of other like-minded mountain bikers.

Epic apologizes for the delay in posting the final maps. Something unexpected happened. A fire. On Los Burros loop. More about this in a second.

We are confident participants of this year's event will be extremely pleased with the route; thanks to countless hours of trail work by TRACKS and a little luck with Mother Nature, it almost flows as smooth as a post ride pitcher of New Belgium.
65 Mile Course Modification*
Back to the fire situation. While making lemonade with our lemons we discovered something. Something great. The reroute, now utilizing the other side of Los Burros, does two things:
-decreases the 65 mile event to 60 miles (sorry enduro freaks)
-removes two major climbs and adds an extremely flow-e descent.
Seriously, it couldn't have worked out better. Thank you Mother Nature.

Think Orange things. Orange juice. Clown fish. Carrots. Orange groves. Orange county. Come event weekend, Orange is what you're looking for.
Feast your eyes on the actual marking flag below...yup. That's what we're talk'n about. Orange pin flags.
See'm trail side. Literally.
