Happy Fourth of July - the USA's Birthday

Did you know the USA is 233 years young this July 4th? Yup, caught us off-guard too. As they say, time flies when you're having fun...

We at Epic Rides would like to encourage everyone to wake up early on July 4th, get in a solid ride (233 miles if you're so inclined) and then proceed to celebrate good ol' #233 for our country.

No matter how you do it, we hope you have a safe and entertaining 4th of July. Happy Birthday America!

White Mountains Jam Session Recruiting

Epic Rides is currently working on securing this year's bands. We are aiming for mellow rock bands, jamming reggae and anything else that seems right for the occasion.

If you've got a band or know someone in a band that fits the genres we're looking for, email us a link to their website/myspace page and we'll follow up to see if we can make things jive.

Frazier Mountain Madness    Taos Ski Valley, NM    June 25th-26th

Celebrating its 5th year, the Frazier Mountain Madness is bigger and better than ever with more singletrack, pro cash payback and great prizes. With cross country races, a hill climb, kids races, and a big party afterwards, it's going to be a great event.

Breck Epic    Breckenridge, CO    July 5th-10th

Feel like testing your endurance? The Breck Epic is a 6-day ultra-endurance mountain bike stage race held in the backcountry of Breckenridge, Colorado. Much of the race, which starts with a 10-mile time trial on day 1, is above 10,000 feet, so you might want to pack some oxygen tanks along with your food & water.

12 Hours At Night    Prescott, AZ    July 18th-19th

The 12 Hours At Night mountain bike relay challenges solo racers and teams of 2 or 3 to complete as many 8-mile laps as possible in a 12 hour period, from 8pm to 8am. The best way to enjoy a nice summer evening in Prescott is to stay up all night with a bunch of your friends and ride your bike! So charge up your headlights and come spend 12 Hours At Night with us.

24 Hours in the Sage    Gunnison, CO    August 15th-16th

Hands down, one of the best 24 Hour courses known to the 24 Hour scene. The 24 Hours in the Sage is located in the historic (think "Rage in the Sage") Hartman Rocks recreational area. With incredible climbing and some of the best descending you'll find at an organized event, this is a race all mountain bikers should spin at least once in a lifetime!

Tour of Durango    Durango, CO    September 20th

Come see why Durango has been home to pro mountain bikers like Ned Overend and many others. This non-competitive ride is a tour of Durango's finest trails. Its being held in conjunction with the Single Speed Mountain Bike World Championships on September 19th.
