Yoga & Whiskey - A Heck of a Combination

First, take a second to picture the two mixed together. Quite funny. Seriously though, details go as follows:

This Yogalicious opportunity is offered by Prescott Yoga. The fine folks of Prescott Yoga are offering two sessions on Saturday.

The first session from 9:30a - 11:00a allows participants to take some time to align themselves with nature and their inner beauty. Play with handstands, back bending principles and delight in the expression of the physical body for an hour and a half. This Anusara Yoga class with Certified Teacher, Rachel Peters, will offer a challenging and dynamic experience of yoga. Some yoga experience necessary.

The second session from 11:30a - 12:30p is a Yoga Basics class intended to introduce new students to the basics of Anusara yoga in a fun, inspiring and safe way. Anusara yoga is a unique method of hatha yoga that combines biomechanical principles of alignment with the celebration of the heart and spirit. This class will focus on introductory yoga postures to build strength, flexibility and awareness. No yoga experience necessary.

Mats are available if needed. Each session costs $12.

Sessions will conclude with enough time for yogi's to mosey back to the 'Event Hub', cheer their friends and family on as they cross the finish line, then saunter their way through the rest of the afternoon till the music goes live.

Whiskey Off-Road Processing Fee - Saturday, March 28th

Heads up! Registration for the Whiskey Off-Road is a happening thing. Be it the riding, the music or the entire weekend of socializing with great folks in the cool mountain air of Prescott, save yourself a $10 spot by registering on or before Saturday, March 28th!

Whiskey Off-Road Pre-Ride April 4th & 5th

Epic Rides invites you to head to Prescott on April 4th or 5th for an awesome weekend of pedaling in the Prescott National Forest. If you haven't ridden the Whiskey Off-Road course, you're in for a treat. The riding here is real from start to finish.

The pre-ride weekend is not so much an organized ride; it's more of an informal gathering of fat-tire fiends. Start time is whenever you start. Distance is up to you. If you'd like to organize your friends to pedal together at a certain time, consider using the Epic Rides Forum (or Tucson MTB's Forums).

Epic Rides encourages you to start and finish your rides at the Prescott Coffee Roaster. "The Roaster" has great coffee and pastries and is located on Gurly St. two blocks west of Whiskey Row; visit them online at www.prescottcoffeeroaster.com. While you're there, pick up a fresh bag of beans and tell them you're a friend of Epic Rides.
