Gates Open at Noon on Thursday, February 12th

Epic Rides would like to offer a gentle reminder, the gates to 24 Hour Town open at noon on Thursday, February 12th.

Because we've had a growing problem over the years with people arriving early…new this year, the Pinal County Sheriff will be ticketing any vehicles left within the boundaries of 24 Hour Town prior to Thursday, February 12th at noon. And to answer the age-old question, Yes, Epic Rides' event permit trumps your recreation permit…thanks for playing.

Dining in 24 Hour Town

Once again Epic Rides has lined up some of Tucson's best chefs to keep you nourished throughout event weekend.

On the grill, we've got Blue Banjo BBQ coming at ya with whole BBQ chickens and some of the best tri-tip outside of the state of Texas. Average point of sale is going to cost between $3 - $7. Don't forget to budget for at least one "Banjo"; at $7 the Banjo is packing a ton of tri-tip steak, with optional peppers, onions and queso.

In the a.m. & into the p.m., we've got Beyond Bread serving up fresh hand made pastries that the Tucson community has been raving about for years! If you're looking for something to keep you warm as the night wears on they'll also be serving classic soups in bread bowls. These hearty portions are sure to fill you up. Plan for $2.50 - $7 purchases from these fine artisans of dough and so much more.

Fueling your Epic fire around the clock, welcome Peddler on the Path and their caffeine-infused concoctions. Jaime, purveyor of fine coffee beans, dreamed up the Peddler on the Path concept while attending the 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo several years ago. Be it espresso or drip, all prices are comparable to your neighborhood coffee joint; $2 - $6. Don't forget to check out his top-notch hot chocolate…

Ride-a-thon For Lung Cancer Research

As a massive group of people with a hankering to "go anaerobic", we are fortunate to have well-functioning lungs. The fact we are willing to use them to their greatest capacities is an expression of gratitude to our bodies.

The Ride-a-thon for Lung Cancer Research is an opportunity to parlay your health and appreciation for a good day on the bike into an opportunity to raise funds for those whom aren't able to ride along side you on event day.

Join the American Lung Association and Epic Rides in raising funds for Lung Cancer Research. The Ride-a-thon fundraiser is fun, easy and best of all you can do it while riding at the Kona Bikes 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo.

100% of the dollars raised go direct to ALA and are tax deductible. This fundraising program is too easy and too much fun not to participate…

Win a 1 of a kind 10th Anniversary Kona/Cirrus Humu
