Start/Finish has Relocated to Show Low Bluff

Show Low Bluff community, conveniently located close to… everything, will offer participants easier access to town from the start/finish plus uninterrupted panoramic views of the Apache Sitgreaves National Forest.

Although we'll only be testing it's direct access to the Apache Sitgreaves National Forest, it's anticipated the Show Low Bluff community will boast direct access to hundreds of miles of single track, a river and kayaking run, extensive rock climbing and to top it off, a downtown urban environment packed with establishments welcoming anyone looking for a break from the hectic mountain lifestyle.

Rock Flicking - Trail maintenance on the fly

Want to have fun while riding your bike and be doing trail maintenance at the same time? Try "rock flicking." As your front tire passes close to a loose rock on the trail, do a quick turn on the handlebars to kick the rock off the trail with the trailing edge of the tire. Be sure to turn back quickly, too, to avoid losing control. This is not for beginning bike riders; done incorrectly it can lead to unpleasant outcomes.

Enjoy the ride,
