Yo Epic, I've Gotta Story For You!

Through a little snow, a little rain and lots of sunshine we at Epic Rides think this was the best 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo yet!

From the looks of things, we've got a good feeling everyone in '24 Hour Town’ did a fantastic job of putting tires to dirt and making sweet sweet memories in our precious Sonoran desert. That said, we want to hear about it!

Please send any worthy recaps of your Old Pueblo weekend to info@epicrides.com. Great stories get published in the event review and rewarded with awesome schwag from our sponsors!

Please submit the goods by this Friday, February 22nd.

The 'Results Situation'

Results are posted here. They've been live since, well, since John Scholnick of Team Drunkcyclist.com finished the first lap shortly after 1p on Saturday. Please review the results.

Epic Rides will gladly accept appeals through this Sunday, February 24th. Anything thereafter and it's going to require a bribe to the scribe setting those suckers in stone.

Please, submit all appeals here.

Epic Retail Goods - Limited Sizes Still Available

That's right folks, Epic Rides retail is still offering a limited amount of sizes in most of the items we had at the event. Larger sizes tend to be what's left.

If it sounds like the glove's going to fit, give us a shout and we'll get ya set up with the latest in Cirrus Visual designed soft goods.

5th Annual Whiskey Off-Road

If You Thought The 24 Hour Was Fun…

One of the best features about Epic Rides events is that each one presents a completely new and refreshing mountain bike weekend getaway.

The Kona 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo is a camping riding non-stop mountain biking weekend. Then comes the Whiskey Off-Road located in the heart of downtown Prescott, AZ… on Whiskey Row.

The Whiskey Off-Road offers participants plus their families and friends the opportunity to indulge in top notch riding in cooler climates while Southern Arizona begins to heat up. The downtown Prescott venue lends itself to various options for accommodations including great camping nearby and a selection of bed and breakfasts and vintage hotels located right next to the start line.

Plus, the courthouse square is surrounded with retail and a shaded lawn perfect for relaxing while off the bike (or for the non-riding). Oh, and then of course we've got the "Whiskey Row Watering Hole Challenge" …we'll save the details on that for a later eNews…but trust it's easily the best way ever to celebrate a good day on the bike amongst friends.

Scheduled for April 26th, Whiskey participants can choose from three distances; 15, 25 or 50 proof (proof = mile). Each offers a "true mountain biking" experience packed with the perfect mix of single track and jeep roads.

All distances host great climbs, undulating traverses through pines & junipers, picturesque overlooks and of course, extended descents plunging into open valleys and the dense Prescott National Forest.

The Whiskey Off-Road is certainly an event everyone can have a good time at; be it on the bike or off.
