On-Site Recycling with Clif Bar & Saguaro Environmental
With the help of Clif Bar & Saguaro Environmental Services, Epic Rides is excited to announce we are providing everyone in 24 Hour Town with a useful tool to achieve a more sustainable lifestyle.
This years venue will house a rather large recycling specific roll-off dumpster. This easily accessed dumpster located at la entrada to 24 Hour Town will provide everyone the opportunity to continue (or create) eco minded habits during event weekend.
To assist those who are interested in recycling but not sure what's appropriate to recycle (i.e. a couch… is not recyclable), Clif Bar will be staffing the roll-off with green-minded folks to help facilitate your experience. Plus, they'll periodically be bouncing from campsite to campsite making themselves available to answer any recycling & sustainability based questions you may have.

Do you have friends and family that want to watch you race in the Kona 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo but aren't able to experience the guilty pleasures of 24 Hour Town first hand during event weekend?
New this year, Epic Rides will be providing real time event results enabling your family and friends to watch you churn out lap after lap from the comforts of their e-z chair!
Live results will be available on-line at http://liveresults.epicrides.com. These results will be updated between 15 minutes and 1-hour intervals for the duration of the event. The interval will be more frequent during the first and last few hours of the race with a minimum of one update per hour during the middle of the event.
Also, for easy access to view results at the venue you can grab a WiFi signal from your campsite via pda or laptop.

Meet Richard Cunningham - Editor of Mountain Bike Action
Join Epic Rides and 150 other happy go lucky mountain bikers for our Annual Exchange Tent Dedication Dinner honoring Richard Cunningham on Friday, February 15th in 24 Hour Town.
"RC", as he's known, is the founder of legendary mountain bike company 'Mantis Bicycles' and has maintained a steady track record of contributions to the mountain bike industry over the last 25+ years as a progressive trail advocate and editor of Mountain Bike Action.
Attendees to this laid back party will be fed well the night before go-time while feasting on an assortment of Mexican food and brews cooked up by Blue Banjo Culinary Artist Jason Ott ($15 all inclusive fee). While dining, attendees will also be entertained by guest speakers & close friends of RC’s while they look back on Richards many feats thus far in life. RC is an incredible person in our industry and certainly someone worth getting to know…

Take a Shift at the 2-4 as a Volunteer!
That's right people; the Kona 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo is not just for those that enjoy a good pedal. Coincidentally, it also happens to be a massive party for the non-pedaling!
Throwing your name in the hat as a volunteer is a great way to put yourself in the middle of it all, meet lots of people and never have to ride a bike in between two cactus separated by less space than your bike is wide!
All volunteers will be entertained by a bunch of crazy people running around in the desert in spandex (plus the occasional pirate costume).
In addition, volunteers receive a special edition event T-shirt to remember this potentially life altering wild and crazy experience.

Register for the 5th Annual Whiskey Off-Road
Scheduled for Saturday, April 26th the Whiskey Off-Road presents the perfect incentive to keep you pedaling and fit through the spring once the 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo has come and gone.
Plus, the Whiskey is located in the cool climates of Prescott at the end of April when Southern Arizona tends to present, should we say, a warmer less ride-friendly climate.

Remember… Ride Your Bike
