The Thanksgiving Low-Down

Thanksgiving Day, always a Thursday, is part of a four day long-weekend which usually marks a pause in school, college, and work calendars.

Epic Rides has elected to acknowledge the Thanksgiving Break as PRIME RIDING days. We're not talking about the 1-2 hour jaunt that you often squeeze in on weekdays before or after work…nope, we're suggesting you celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday by giving thanks to the freedom & sanity your bicycle provides you with day in and day out.

Over these next four days of quality family time and excessive intake, see if you can't 'squeeze' in an Epic. Ride till you're tired…

Help revitalize park funding and trail opportunities… A proposed bill would appropriate the largest ever funding increase for the National Parks Service--at least $100 million annually--and dramatically improve visitor experiences, including those on singletrack.

This bill will provide funding for a series of signature projects around the country, including those for new trails.

A friendly reminder from Epic Rides, the Kona 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo scheduled for February 16th is filling fast (twice as fast as in years past), we highly recommend going to the store, purchasing a twelve pack of Red Hook Ale, calling all potential teammates and having a round table in order to get your team squared away ASAP.
